Elevate

The Elevate Program is for students that require additional assistance to ride bikes. It was started in 2015 thanks to a wonderful young man named Elijah Palmer and his family.

Each year the league and teams are able to fully integrate student athletes into practices and races during the season. Previous Elevate riders have included students with autism, Down’s Syndrome, vision and hearing impairment, rider’s missing limbs, as well as riders who are coming back after an injury and need extra support.

The Utah League also adapts racecourses to meet the needs of Elevate students and can provide distance and technical challenge appropriate to the Elevate students' ability. Each student has a coach assisting them according to their needs. Races take place in conjunction with the high school races, so teams can cheer on their participants.
